Verbal 360

Purpose

A verbal 360-degree feedback process is an invaluable tool for successful executive transitions.  Our approach integrates the feedback process within the overall context of the organization and the career path of the executive.

Process

Our process begins with a review of the role relying on empirical research to identify targeted leadership competencies relevant to the specific level and job in focus.   We identify key stakeholders and carefully explain the process and how the collected data will be used.  Our interviews are concise and rich.  Sample interview questions include:

  • What are the 2-3 major business challenges they will face in the coming year?
  • Tell me 1-2 stories that show them operating at their very best.
  • What are your team member’s “standout” strengths?
  • What would make your team members even more effective?
  • What does career growth look like for your team members?

With the interview results in hand, we present the information in a one-on-one session that allows the executive to digest the information and construct a personal plan of action.

Outcomes

A verbal 360 assessment can provide a transitioning executive with valuable insights that may be very difficult to obtain in any other way.  With the integrated report in hand, the executive can build a targeted and effective plan of action.
